Overview
Nothing can keep you down. No man. No woman. Not even a mulleted fitness instructor who feeds you diet pills and calls you a loser.
Set in 1988, Spandex follows two women who need each other to compete on the greatest stage there was or is: the Crystal Light National Aerobics Championship, hosted by Alan Thicke.
Half Karate Kid underdog story and half A Chorus Line, Spandex honors the world’s greatest aerobic athletes, and the outfits they donned.
Catherine Ashmore Bradley returns as Dori Jenson, a role she first played at nine years old in the show’s early developmental productions. This run features a new original solo written for her.
